A journalist and television programme maker Haydn has worked in broadband applications since 1990 when he took a sabbatical from television to work as a programme manager at the EU in Brussels. While there he managed EU investments in experimental broadband applications in education and training and wrote the first exploratory accounts of 3G mobile communications as well as reports outlining future Wired Cities, and medical applications of broadband. More recently he wrote EU papers on future audio-visual search engines and networked audio-visual services. He has written for, among other magazines and newspapers, the Wall St Journal, The Times, Irish Times, NRC Handelsblad, Long Range Planning and produced television programmes for the BBC, Channel 4 and RTE. A long termblogger he has designed new media products, virtual art products and pioneering conversational marketing strategies. Haydn is based in County Cork, Ireland |

Founder of depo, Pete is responsible for imagining and exploring ways in which virtual worlds can add real benefit to clients' businesses. He has a unique blend of skills in advertising, finance and IT and heads up depo's pilot business applications as well as overseeing the development of the Park and its pioneering work in virtual organizations. Formerly with IT services giant Sema, where he was Head of Financial Services Business Development, Pete has also been a Managing Principle with james martin + co / Headstrong, a global consultancy. For Bank of Scotland Group, he was Head of Strategy for their subsidiary Capital Bank Motor and then Director of Systems for Bank of Scotland Business Banking. Peter was also IT Director of Renault Financial Services, a joint venture between the Bank of Scotland and the car maker. |

He runs slodcast.com, providing professional video services to the virtual world – including the race videos for FormulaSL. In real life he was a director of Digithull Limited, specialists in the production and design of media content including; 3D interactive architectural models, Interactive TV interface design, design for print, aerial photography and video, video editing and web design/development. Lauri has also lectured in games design, digital interactive television and web design. |
